Pharmacy Assignment
A - Selection of the Place :
Deciding where to locate is one of the
first major choices you'll make while building your pharmacy business.
The location you choose for your
pharmacy will greatly contribute to its success or demise. For many,
unfortunately, the best counter is counterintuitive.
A compelling argument can be made for 2
things to look for when choosing a pharmacy location. Neither has any
relationship to the other, but both must be considered. They are:
1 - Adjacent to an upscale residential area
2 - Next to a chain store pharmacy
If both of these characteristics are not
simultaneously available, then always go with the first: being in or near an
upscale neighborhood. An alternate approach is to be on or close to a highway
that connects high-income families to your store.
Your grandpa's pharmacy business model
is outdated, and the model that succeeds today requires a different location.
Today, being in a strip mall, shopping center, or free-standing building is
good, but being next to a chain store .
If you choose to place the pharmacy next
to a hospital or between shops and commercial markets and in an area that cares
about skin care, body and hair and accept the measurement of weight, pressure,
sugar and other things that are accepted by people with a level of awareness of
course will be the level of profit is high compared to the size of sales in the
middle income .
B - Financial Feasibility
study :
The Discount Pharmacy will incur the following start-up
equipment costs:
v Office equipment
including chairs, file cabinets, and desks.
v Front counter,

server with a laser printer, and back-up system.
v Software: Microsoft
Office, QuickBooks Pro, drug interaction software, Physician Desk Reference
software detailing side effects and other information pertinent to the
customer.
v Assorted bottles,
boxes, envelopes, etc. for dispensing and shipment.
v Scales for
shipping.
v Telecom system.
v Storefront
build-out.
v Start-up inventory.
v Rent, utilities,
insurance.
Please note that these items will be used for more than
one year and will therefore be labeled long-term assets .

C - Registration steps :
First: Pharmacy License Terms:
1 - The distance between the place to be
licensed and the nearest pharmacy should not be less than 100 meters in any
direction that is not required in the same street, but in any direction, even
if it is in Tani Street.
2. Health requirements :
A
- The area should not be less than 40

- The height should not be less than 2.7 m for the entire area of the pharmacy

Required Documents :

- Payment of the consideration fee (a cash

Other documents for submission later :
- A certificate from the Ministry of the number of pharmacies
owned by him (proving that he has no more than two pharmacies).
- A certificate that the pharmacist is not expensive and does
not work in the government and the public sector and went on graduating more
than a year in the practice of the profession in the institution
(Unless the property
has been transferred to him by inheritance)
- Evidence of enrollment in the Pharmacists Syndicate
- Which means possession of the place to be licensed
- A certificate from the localities stating the installation of

- Certificate of registration to open a pharmacy of the General
Union after obtaining the consent of the branch union.
- The administration may require additional documents after the
inspection
The
administration shall undertake the inspection and notify the applicant of the
license in a period not exceeding 30 days. The request shall be deemed to be
approved within 30 days without informing the applicant of the refusal.
Pharmaceutical institutions are also provided with:
3 Pharmacy book from the Fajalah or from
the union if available Pharmacology Act .
4 Stamp as follows :
- Stamp "Pharmacy Name and
Address" .
- Stamp "Pharmacy Name Poison" .
- Stamp "Pharmacy Drug Name" .
- Stamp "Pharmacy name damaged
medicines" .
Refrigerator
